Harness the regenerative power of your own blood to support skin rejuvenation and hair restoration. Administered by our Registered Nurse using Alocuro technology — the gold standard in Australian PRP practice.
The Science
PRP — Platelet-Rich Plasma
PRP is plasma with 5–10 times more platelets than typically found in whole blood. Platelets contain growth factors that promote healing by restoring tissue strength, stimulating collagen production, and increasing local blood flow.
A small blood draw is processed on-site in a centrifuge. The red blood cells separate from the plasma, leaving a concentrated solution of platelets and growth factors that is then applied to the treatment area.
PRF — Platelet-Rich Fibrin
PRF is the next generation of PRP. Processed without anticoagulants, it forms a fibrin matrix that acts as a slow-release reservoir for growth factors — delivering them to the treatment area over a longer period for more sustained results.
PRF also contains a higher concentration of white blood cells and stem cells, which may further support tissue regeneration and healing.
Alocuro Certified Clinician
AURA Skin Clinic uses the Alocuro PRP system — an Australian-developed, TGA-listed device used by leading clinicians across the country. All procedures are performed by our AHPRA-registered Registered Nurse (NMW0001626409) following Alocuro's evidence-based protocols.
Skin Rejuvenation
PRP and PRF skin treatments use your own growth factors to support skin renewal from within. The concentrated plasma is applied via micro-injections or in combination with microneedling to target specific skin concerns.
Plasma also contains vitamins, nutrients, and proteins that support the skin's natural repair processes. A consultation is required prior to treatment to assess suitability and discuss the most appropriate approach for your skin.

Hair Restoration
Scalp PRP and PRF treatments use your own growth factors to stimulate dormant hair follicles, increase local blood flow, and support the growth of healthier, stronger hair. The concentrated plasma is reintroduced to the scalp using micro-injection techniques targeting affected areas.
Plasma contains vitamins, nutrients, and proteins — in addition to platelets — that support the hair follicle and may help reduce hair fall. A consultation is required to assess the cause and pattern of hair loss and determine whether PRP or PRF is an appropriate option for you.
